Als professionell ausgebildeter Sicherheitsbeauftragter für G4S könnten Sie Mitglied des Sicherheitsteams sein, das für die Sicherung von Objekten wie Baustellen, Gerichten, Geschäften, Lagerhallen, Banken und Fabriken sowie Häfen und Flughäfen verantwortlich ist. Sie würden Fuß- oder Fahrzeugpatrouillen durchführen, den Zugang an Eintrittspunkten kontrollieren, Ausrüstung und Personen sichern, auf Notfallsituationen reagieren, CCTV- und Überwachungsanlagen überwachen und helfen, kriminelle Aktivitäten zu erkennen und zu verhindern.

As a Security Receptionist at G4S, you’ll be a key part of our security team ensuring that all visitors / clients are welcomed in a professional manner, ensuring the premises security whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. You’ll be the first person visitors meet on arrival so this role is key to creating a professional and friendly atmosphere - from ensuring the reception area is presentable and queries handled efficiently, We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

It’s a varied role where no two days will be the same. You’ll be handling incoming phone calls and managing the switchboard, and liaising with clients, visitors and staff You’ll be an integral part of the security operation, ensuring the correct protocols and procedures are adhered to, such as the issuing of visitors badges and site access, and dealing with any breaches or incidents as required. With a keen eye for detail and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role with exciting career opportunities.

With previous experience within a similar role, you will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge and attention to detail is also essential for this role. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm and effective way whilst demonstrating empathy and sensitivity.

As this is a security role we will require a Counter Terrism Clearance, which we can support with by sponsoring this for the successful candidate, in Addition to this our client would progress with SC Clearance
