About the role

We are currently seeking experienced Security Officers to join our Woodside team location in Perth. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, the primary role of the Security Officer is to ensure the immediate safety and security of the premises and all those person(s) on the premises. The position is a casual opportunity with the potential for full time in the future.

• Provide internal security services including routine and regular patrols within facilities.
• Assist with emergency responses as a member of the Incident Response Team (IRT) as directed.
• Provide surveillance of abnormal incidents within the precincts of the facility and liaise with police as appropriate.
• Provide information and assistance to staff, visitors and service contractors as necessary.
• Follow policies, procedures and instructions relating to work health and safety that are relevant to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality and safe services in the workplace.
• Take reasonable care for your own health, safety and wellbeing and take reasonable care to ensure that your acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health, safety and wellbeing of others
• Report safety and security hazards or breaches to the on-duty Security Supervisor.

What we're looking for

• Hold a Western Australian Security License - Static Guard/Crowd Control
• Hold a Certificate II Security Operations
• Have received or renewed your CPR cert within the year
