Key Responsibilities
Command Center & National Control Room (NCR) Leadership: Ensure 100% operational continuity of the NCR infrastructure (backup power, redundant ISP links, failover server clusters). Engineer and enforce strict SOPs for alarm monitoring, incident escalation, and emergency dispatch while driving down dispatch time and response times.
Systems Management & Lifecycle Roll-out: Lead the standard deployment of hardware and ensure perfect mirroring in backend management software. Oversee rigorous firmware updates, security patching, and database/biometric integrity in compliance with data privacy laws.
Implementation & Client Onboarding: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for final client handovers. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to ensure high client adoption and independent use of localised dashboards.
Stakeholder & Financial Management: Act as the technical point of escalation for key accounts to maximise customer satisfaction and contract retention. Collaborate internally with HR, Finance, and MSS Operations to align technology with corporate governance and manage project costing/margins.
The Ideal Profile (Technical Competency & Other Requirements)
Command Platforms & VMS: Hands on expertise with Risk360, Instacom, Geotab, Securysat, or HikCentral, alongside integrated alarm panels (IDS, Paradox, Cellsecure, FSK, Hikvision, Dahua, etc.).
Network Management: Deep understanding of VLAN tagging for security traffic isolation and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations for real time video streaming.
AI Analytics: Ability to configure and fine tune edge analytics (Tripwire, Loitering, Heatmaps) to minimize false positives in the Control Room.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Middle Management within the Electronic Security, ICT, or Telecommunications sector.
Track Record: Proven history of successfully managing large scale integrated security or technology infrastructure projects.
Financial Literacy: Fair understanding of project costing, margins, and financial reporting.
Key Attributes: High integrity, strategic thinker, excellent negotiator, and a passionate "Customer-First" mindset.
