BUILDING COORDINATOR

 

Salary: £40,308.59 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD


 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Coordinator to join our team at Hinkley Point C. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. 

 

As a Building Coordinator, you will take ownership of your assigned site, maintaining regular communication with key stakeholders. You will oversee all FM audits, collaborate with Soft and Hard Services teams to manage building requirements, and ensure all tasks are accurately recorded in the CAFM system through frequent coordination with the Helpdesk

 

Core Requirements & Responsibilities</b>

  • Contract & Operational Excellence: Partner with the Operations team to deliver contract KPIs, SLAs, and mobilization plans for new sites while identifying innovative methods to enhance service delivery.</p>

  • Stakeholder & Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders, providing expert advice and a collaborative approach to FM service delivery.</p>

  • Service Coordination: Oversee the integration of Hard and Soft services, managing reactive and PPM tasks, sourcing supplier quotes, and ensuring all data is captured within the CAFM system.

  • Resource & Budget Management: Manage daily delivery schedules and staffing levels within prescribed budgets, ensuring robust procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements.</p>

  • Performance Monitoring & Auditing: Conduct regular building and team audits to monitor progress, report on performance, and implement action plans for continuous improvement.</p>

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and develop the team through timely reviews (EDRs), providing supervisory cover across the wider site structure and supporting the Senior Management Team as required.</p>


Essential

  • Exceptional planning and coordination skills, with a methodical approach

  • Adept at navigating fast-paced environments, meeting strict deadlines, and balancing competing priorities with ease

  • Proven ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels through clear, professional verbal and written communication.

  • A high-energy team player who brings passion and drive to every project, remaining composed and effective under pressure.

 

Desirable: 

  • FM/Building/Construction background

  • Knowledge of CAFM Evolution

  • Project/Change management skills would be an advantage
