Recruiting for Event Steward 

Location Isle of Man Recruiting from  Northern Ireland 

Pay Rate £13.90 per hour 

Hours of work  - Hours average between 8 / 12 hr days, not guaranteed to work every day apart from race / practice days all staff required

Expense Supplement - £25 per Day 

Travel Accommodation and uniform - All Provided by G4S 

Event dates

14th - 31st August

(please note each candidate must be avialable for the duration due to travel and accomadation arrrangements) 

About the Role 

As a Steward at  G4S , you will be a key part of our team, you will ensure safety of our client, customers and visitors, their assets, whilst providing customer service with a Smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe environment, 

covering event security at one of the worlds best known sporting events you’ll be involved in the set up and ensuring that the event is a success, you’ll be joining a team with various experience in the security industry as well as newcomers to the industry! 

Our Stewards provide a visible reminder that safety is our number one priority for visitors and staff. Which means you may be on your feet a lot, you’ll enjoy the buzz of the event while working with and meeting great people, 

Duties will include 

Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures

Searching visitors on entry to venues

Access controls 

Managing Carpark  

Start line/Parc Ferme Roles 

Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venue

Patrolling roles in various locations across the site
