FP&A Analyst - Graduate Position

Reporting to: Head of Financial, Reporting & Analysis - International

Location; London

Salary: Competitive 

Are you a high-energy graduate with a passion for numbers and a "can-do" attitude? G4S, the world’s leading security and facility services provider, is looking for a FP&A Graduate Analyst to join our International team in Central London. This position is based full-time in the office. 

Your responsibilities will include:

As a FP&A Graduate, you won't just be crunching numbers; you'll be building the insights that our International CFO and senior executives rely on. Your objective is to help the business understand its performance through deep-dive analysis and high-quality reporting.

  • Providing in-depth analysis and insight on the performance of the group’s businesses. Building strong relationships within the Group and with the global businesses

  • Reporting the Group’s monthly management results to the International CFO and Allied Universal parent organisation

  • Assisting with the reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes of the Group on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Financial controls compliance – reviewing compliance by businesses with the Group’s requirements on evidencing periodic financial controls

  • Provide in depth analysis of areas of specific focus such as overhead costs as required

  • Provide support to track Group-wide cost reduction programmes


Essential Attributes:

  • Academic Foundation: Excellent academics. Degree educated in related fields such as finance or business with solid grounding in basic accounting.

  • Excel Mastery: Strong modelling skills with the ability to model work quickly and accurately under time pressure if required.

  • Communication Skills: Confident and articulate, with the ability to build relationships across a vast global network. Ability to pull together presentations in a neat and presentable fashion.

  • Quality and Accuracy: (right first time) is required as the audience of the FP&A teams’ output is typically senior executives.

  • Analytical Mindset: Able to collate data in a meaningful and easily understood manner.

  • Self-starter: High energy and a can-do attitude is essential in this role, to contribute to a large business during a period of significant change and growth.
