Looking for a new career in Security?
Security Jobs
As demand for security across the globe increases, we recruit, screen and deploy over 150,000 new security professionals each year.
As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV, surveillance operative and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity. Site supervisors and operations managers also play a pivotal role.
We employ many ex armed forces personnel as they have hugely valuable and transferable skills. Some choose a career in close protection – as highly skilled bodyguards, whilst others choose to work in highly specialised teams in high-risk countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan. In our North America region, for example, over 25% of G4S employees are military veterans.
We also have an increasing demand for event stewards across the globe. You could be a member of a team securing a prestigious music or sporting event - roles that are often more likely to be part time, attracting students and those who cannot commit to full time work. Whatever Security Officer role you choose, you are likely to find yourself on the front line, the face of G4S, and playing an important role in keeping people, property and our customer’s assets, safe.
