Churchill Hospital is a centre of excellence for cancer services and other specialties, including renal services and transplant, clinical and medical oncology, dermatology, haemophilia, chest medicine and palliative care. It’s also a major centre for healthcare research.
We are actively seeking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE. The hours of work are 40 per week, covering various shifts. As part of this role you will work as part of the G4S Facilities Management team to maintain and repair assets, building fabric, services and utilities across the PFI Hospital. Reporting to the Hard FM Supervisor, you will work with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and non-skilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis.
Key responsibilities will include:

Operate within planned maintenance procedures effectively and safely.

Deal effectively and safely with breakdowns and damage to assets.

Write up maintenance reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities.

Assist in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments and preparing and maintaining relevant technical records.

Participate in emergency call out arrangements and provide cover where necessary during sickness absence periods.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Criteria:

Mechanical engineering discipline (Level 3 NVQ diploma in Mechanical Services or equivalent).

17 th Edition (IET) Wiring Regulations.
