Salary: £37,467.48 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Maintenance Technician on a full-time, permanent basis based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The main aim of the role is being responsible for reactive repair and maintenance tasks and implementing building and plant maintenance works within the HPC project agreement.
This role is based on-site. The standard hours of work are 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities

To respond to BMS generated alarms and faults
-
To perform planned Workspace Re-engineering tasks as designated by HPC helpdesk team

Raise work requests through CAFM system to ensure full traceability of works carried out

To assist in maintenance of CAD layout drawings

Perform the duties of an Accompanying Safety Person

To complete daily plant monitoring duties and record details
-
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to meet the needs of the business

Maintenance inspection and repairs to various assets, building fabric and estate, e.g. furniture, internal and external fixtures and fittings, grounds, access and parking, etc

To carry out Health and Safety responsibilities as per G4S Corporate Part B Responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential Criteria
-
Maintenance experience.
-
Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures.
-
IT literate including
-
Good communicator.
-
Reliable and conscientious with an eye for detail.
-
Enthusiastic, self motivated with a flexible approach
Desirable
-
Qualified to NVQ level 4 or equivalent in a Technical discipline.
-
Working knowledge of PAT Testing.
