Salary: £34,500 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm

G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Fabric Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis based in Tower Hamlets, London.
We are looking for an experienced individual who is reliable, able to communicate effectively, and capable of working both independently on their own initiative and as part of a team. Working with the Engineering Team Leader and Facilities Manager, you will provide an effective and compliant delivery of the Hard FM fabric maintenance services to a number of schools within the Tower Hamlets Schools contract, ensuring the business meets contractual requirements.
Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance inspection and repairs to various types of building fabric elements.

Diagnosing faults on all building fabric elements and safely fixing breakdowns and damage to assets.

Ensure that all reactive and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard within the contracted SLA’s.

Ensure all planned maintenance tasks (PPMs) are completed within the designated time period to ensure statutory compliance.

Provide a client-facing interface to ensure a high level of communication is delivered to the client.

Manage subcontractor work performance.

Preparation of reports and projects.

Provide support within our Greenwich Schools contract in the event of sickness, annual leave, and operational requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
-
5 years experience in a similar role or environment.
-
Experience of building maintenance, construction activities, and other related trades.
-
Fire Risk Assessment Awareness.
-
SLA Management.
-
Excellent knowledge of Statutory Compliance.
-
Current or previous experience of Authorised / Competent Person duties for Working At Height and Confined Spaces.
-
Trained in access methods such as PASMA / IPAF / MEWPS etc.
