Position: Security Specialist

Location: Dublin 2 

Basic Pay: €15.41 + €4.09 site specifc allowance 

Additional Pay: Sunday Premium + €3.44 per hour, Unsociable Hours €20.00 per shift worked, Overtime paid at x1.5 after 96 hours per fortnight, Bank Holiday paid at x2 when worked - All in accordance with the ERO order.

Hours: 36 per week

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00 Monday-Sunday, or as per roster 

Only applicants with a minimum of 3 years of corporate security experience in Ireland will be considered for this role.

​Role Overview:

​G4S is seeking high-calibre Corporate Security Officers to provide premium security services at our prestigious client site in Dublin City. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for world-leading AI researchers. This role requires a unique blend of traditional security vigilance and modern technical proficiency.

​Key Responsibilities:

​Access Management: Execute G4S standard operating procedures for site security while managing visitor flow via digital platforms.

​Tech-Integrated Communication: Actively use Slack as the primary tool for operational updates, team coordination, and "all-clear" reporting.

​Digital Documentation: Maintain all shift logs, key handovers, and incident reports digitally using Google Workspace (Docs & Sheets). No paper logging is used on this site.

​Client Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for employees and guests, providing a concierge-level service that reflects a modern tech culture.

​Physical Security: Conduct regular internal and external patrols, focusing on the protection of sensitive R&D areas and intellectual property.

​Emergency Response: Serve as a First Aid Responder and Fire Warden, utilizing Google Calendar to stay updated on office occupancy and high-traffic events.

​Requirements & Qualifications:

Must hold a valid PSA Static Security License (Mandatory).

​Technical Literacy: You must be highly proficient with Slack and Google Workspace. You should be comfortable navigating shared drives and communicating in real-time threads.

​Communication: English language requirement C1 minimum, reports must be professional, clear, and "client-ready."

​Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in a corporate or "tech-sector" security role in Ireland

​Attributes: High level of discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive AI research.

​Technical Environment:

​The successful candidate will be expected to operate within the following ecosystem:

​Communication: Slack (Desktop and Mobile).

​Documentation: Google Docs, Google Sheets.

​Scheduling: Google Calendar.

​Visitor Management: Digital Check-in Systems (e.g. Envoy).
