C1 Driver – 7.5T Delivery Driver
Edinburgh
Full Time, permanent
Monday to Friday – no weekends, no overnight stays
£14.87 per hour rising to £15.47 after 12 months (£31,493 per annum)
Plus paid overtime, up to 5 weeks holiday, pension, life assurance, uniform, PPE and ongoing training.

The Role
As a C1 Driver within our cash transportation team, you will play a key role in delivering and collecting cash and valuables securely across the local area. You will work within a highly professional and regulated
environment where safety, security and customer service are essential.

Responsibilities include:
 Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle safely and professionally
 Completing scheduled local deliveries and collections
 Carrying out daily vehicle checks
 Loading and unloading consignments safely and accurately
 Completing paperwork and delivery records correctly
 Following strict company procedures and safety regulations
 Providing excellent customer service at all times
 Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude

Essential Requirements
You must:
 Hold a valid UK C1 driving licence
 Be comfortable working to procedures and schedules
 Have good communication skills in both written and spoken English
 Be reliable, punctual and professional
 Be physically fit, as lifting and moving items may be required

This role requires a valid UK C1 licence. Applicants holding only a standard Category B licence will not be considered.

 Provide a 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify
 Follow strict operational and security procedures
 Work within a secure and regulated environment

• You must be able to pass a criminal record check as well as a personal credit and ID check.
• You’ll need to provide 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history that we can check and verify.
• You will need to be prepared to undergo airport style searches when entering and leaving our premises and be comfortable working within a secure warehouse environment.
• An SIA licence would be beneficial.

This role will be subject to a medical review, which may include a medical assessment with an occupational health practitioner. We will provide all the training and support to help you to progress as a key member of our world-class team.
