Overview of the role

As a professionally trained Security Officer for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories as well as ports and airports. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergency situations, monitoring CCTV and surveillance equipment and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity.

Position: Security Specialist 

Location: Leopardstown, Co. Dublin

Basic Pay: €21.23 per hour 

Hours: 40-42 per week

Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 7am-7pm with flexibility to cover nights where required

Position Overview:

The Security Specialist's primary objective is to maintain a high-quality physical security posture that protects client's employees, assets, and reputation, aligning all security operations with the clients 's corporate culture and global security standards.


Core Responsibilites: 

    • Providing a high level of customer service
    • Working as part of a team
    • Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public visiting the premises as well as liaising with the client
    • Must present themselves in a courteous and presentable manner
    • Report writing
    • Ensuring the safety and security of our clients' buildings and assets
    • The ability to carry out security duties as specified, including patrols, monitoring CCTV, access control etc

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in security operations in a Corporate setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Must possess the ability to foster and be a steward of a culture of trust, honesty, and integrity.
  • Demonstrates the skills and qualities of being professional, courteous, and able to provide high-level customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • PSA Licence: Valid PSA Security Guarding Licence
  • Screening and Vetting: 5 years of verifiable and personal activity
