What will you be doing

Producing CAD drawings & manuals of varying complexity according to the needs to designers, sales & operations

Ensuring all drawings and documentation are produced to a high quality standard without errors

Managing a number of drawing tasks at any one time and prioritising according to need

The production of technical submittal documents for bid responses as required by the design team

Responsible for document management within the design team

Ensuring all output is produced in line with agreed timescales and delivered to the agreed deadline

Adherence to Company’s policies and procedures

Carrying out peer review of other CAD engineers work to ensure an error free environment and that quality and consistency is kept high across the team

Maintenance of the CAD environment within the relevant office (Physical & Software)

What we are looking for

In depth knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience working in a CAD environment in a building layout / construction capacity

Maths & English at GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

Able to multi task and set clear priorities

Good knowledge of Office applications (Google & MS)

Able to interpret Customer’s detailed drawings

Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication skills

Good level of customer service and customer liaison skills

There is also some must haves

Must be able to pass BS7858 screening.

Clean full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.

Enhanced DBS.

Some government sites will require further screening.
