Relief Security Officer

Contract Information

Position: Relief Security Officer
Location: Dagenham & Dunton (must be happy to travel to both sites)
Pay Rate: £14.33 per hour
Hours:  Full-time - 42 hours a week (not set shift pattern as this will be to cover holidays, sickness etc)
Shifts: Days, nights and weekends

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You’ll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Other duties include:

- Crowd control at peak times 
- Ensuring that all customers are safe on-site 
- Managing situations with people under the influence of alcohol 
- Patrols of the site 
- Adhering to customer’s security standards  
- Dealing with any security breaches or medical incidents 
- Liaising with the relevant authorities, if required

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Experience in preventative fire methods, plumbing and electrical knowledge. Having Good IT knowledge is also key. 

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.
