SCHOOL CLEANER (TERM TIME)

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Working Hours: Part Time, 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm (Term time only)

Location: Abbeyfield School, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 3XB

Are you reliable, hardworking, and attentive to detail? Join our G4S Facilities Management team at Abbeyfield School. Working Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 07:30 pm you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, and visitors.

No previous experience is required-full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning: Keep all areas of the school clean, tidy, and welcoming for teachers and pupils.
  
  

• Daily Tasks: Carry out essential daily duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying waste bins.
  
  

• Record Keeping: Keep track of your cleaning stock levels and report any maintenance issues or hazards quickly so they can be resolved.

Essential Criteria:

• A willingness to learn: Previous professional cleaning experience is a benefit, but it is not essential as we provide all the training you need.
  
  

• Reliability: A strong commitment to excellent timekeeping and a reliable approach to your shifts.
  
  

• High Standards: A natural desire to do a job well to keep the environment safe and tidy.
  
  

• Communication: Follow safety instructions and communicate effectively with your team.
  
  

Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
