Position: Site Security Lead

Location: Dublin 2

Basic Pay: €15.41 + €9.10 site specific allowance per hour

Additional Pay: Sunday Premium + €3.44 per hour, Unsociable Hours €20.00 per shift worked, Overtime paid at x1.5 after 96 hours per fortnight, Bank Holiday paid at x2 when worked - All in accordance with the ERO order.

Contractual weekly Hours: 45 per week

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Position Overview:

The Security Site Lead is responsible for overseeing all security operations on site, ensuring the safety, protection, and professional conduct of all security personnel. This role acts as the primary point of contact for the client, manages day‑to‑day operations, and ensures compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

Oversee daily security operations and ensure all posts are staffed appropriately.

Lead, support, and mentor the on‑site security team.

Conduct regular site patrols, audits, and compliance checks.

Ensure all incidents, breaches, and irregularities are reported and documented correctly.

Client Relationship Management

Act as the main on‑site liaison between the client and the security provider.

Attend client meetings, provide updates, and address concerns promptly.

Ensure service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations.

Staff Management

Manage scheduling, rostering, and shift coverage.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new officers.

Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions when required.

Ensure officers adhere to uniform, conduct, and performance standards.

Compliance & Reporting

Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, site procedures, and legal requirements.

Oversee access control, badge management, and visitor protocols.

Respond to emergencies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

Health, Safety & Risk Management

Identify and escalate risks, hazards, or vulnerabilities.

Support emergency response planning and drills.

Promote a safe working environment for staff and visitors.

Skills & Qualifications:

Essential

Previous experience in a supervisory or lead security role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage teams and resolve conflicts professionally.

Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

Strong understanding of access control, incident reporting, and security protocols.

PSA Security Guarding Licence 

English Language C1 

Desirable

Experience working in corporate or high‑profile environments.

Knowledge of risk management and emergency response procedures.

First Aid, Fire Safety, or relevant security certifications.
