Security Officer

What G4S can offer you:

• Full-Time Permanent position with an hourly rate of $30.08 per hour
• 4-day work week consisting of 10-hour shifts commencing at 7:30 or 8:00 am
• Uncapped $500 bonuses for referring someone who becomes a G4S employee.

About the role:

Operating on a balanced 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts, the role is to guide the flow of the public and clients entering the centre to maintain an orderly and safe environment.

Each day begins and ends at a central CBD location, where you will join your team to drive to various sites in a company vehicle.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting regular patrols and monitoring to maintain a constant security presence, deterring unauthorised activity.
• Ongoing screening of all visitors and public members entering the site.
• Building and maintaining professional, positive relationships with facility personnel and other stakeholders.
• Follow incident response procedures when required.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Victorian Security Licence
• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence
• Valid first aid certificate, or willingness to obtain this before commencement
• Able to commit to 10-hour shifts, starting each day at a central CBD site before travelling to various locations across Melbourne
