Cashier

Key Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing: Accurately execute payment requests and withdrawals on behalf of G4S Cash Solutions clients.

• Cash Operations: Efficiently count, process, verify, and package bulk cash following strict internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Reconciliation & Deposits: Perform daily reconciliations of payout cash and ensure timely, accurate deposits.

• Security & Compliance: Maintain the highest level of vigilance to safeguard cash holdings against loss or theft, adhering to all security protocols without exception.

• Reporting: Provide real time service updates and detailed collection reports to the Line Manager.

Requirements & Attributes

• Education: Minimum of a Certificate in Financial Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a finance or retail environment. Direct experience in bulk cash handling or bank tellering is a significant advantage.

• Communication: Excellent command of both written and verbal English.

• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with general Cash Handling SOPs and basic accounting principles.
