About the role & team

Our client is a renowned global technology company, the role is based at their Corporate Office in the Brisbane CBD. This people-facing Security Concierge position works with another Part-time Security Officer, reporting to our Security Contract Lead.

We are looking for professionals with security experience in a corporate or concierge environment. We are also looking for strong IT-literacy, and exemplary customer service and communication skills.

The role involves:

• Administration duties - such as monitoring incoming emails for new starter access approvals and creating badges/access passes.
• Managing the reception desk - including greeting visitors, assisting with forgotten access cards, supporting the sign-in process, and interacting with couriers and facilities staff.
• Remote Monitoring - Performing detailed security checks in our systems to provide our client's staff access at other sites across Australia and New Zealand.
• CCTV monitoring - Monitoring specific areas during incidents and retrieving required footage.
• Patrols & Report Writing - Conducting regular patrols of all building levels and the external perimeter, and preparing concise incident reports.

What we're looking for

• Current and valid Queensland Security Licence.
• A high level of customer service and professional communication skills.
• IT-literate and willing to learn new systems and software.
• Experience with security systems (Access Control, CCTV, and Alarm Monitoring). Experience with Lenel is highly desirable.
