Role Responsibility:

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4:30pm

Location: North Wiltshire Schools, SN4 7HG

G4S Facilities Management is recruiting an Electrical Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis based in North Wiltshire.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic individual with excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will undertake a range of tasks including electrical works, plant and machinery maintenance, and PPM activities in order to meet the Contractor’s contractual Service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Programmed Maintenance, reactive repairs, maintenance tasks and remedial works as needed.

• Monitor plant and equipment performance.

• Close tasks promptly to avoid performance penalties.

• Update maintenance records to ensure statutory compliance with G4S health and safety policy.

• Ensure daily tasks are recorded and reported as needed.

• Act as the Responsible Person for LV.

• Prepare work schedules, costs, and quotes for requested ANC/Variations works.

• Comply with Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential

• 18th Edition of IET Wiring Regs.

• IOSH Managing Safety.

• Asbestos Awareness.

• Operational and maintenance experience of LV systems, alarm systems, BMS systems (TREND) and electrical works associated with plant and equipment.

• Knowledgeable in relevant Health & Safety, Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit to Work procedure.

• Full driving licence with Category Part BE.
