Legal Advisor - Graduate Position

At G4S we’re recruiting for a Legal Adviser to support our UK Facilities Management business, specialising in public sector contracting. 

The role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive legal team, working closely with operational and commercial colleagues to provide clear, practical legal advice and ensure that our business operates with confidence and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts and proposals in line with G4S Standards 

• Advising the business on commercial and legal risks and helping to manage and mitigate them

• Supporting the business in meeting its contractual obligations

• Preparing and reviewing contracts, summaries and documentation 

• Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver effective solutions 

What We’re Looking For:

• Academic Foundation: Excellent academics. Commercial Legal Degree 

• A solid understanding of contract and commercial law (in England or Scotland) 

• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Salary: The base salary for this position is £35,000, with the opportunity for company sponsorship for further studies. Please note that we are open to negotiating this salary for candidates who possess commercial experience following graduation.
