Position: Temporary Car Park Attendant - Christmas Cover
Location: Kildare Village
Basic Pay: €14.51 per hour
Additional Pay: Sunday Premium + €3.44 per hour, Overtime & Bank Holiday rates.
Contracted Hours: 8 per week
Anticipated Hours: Up to 38 per week
Schedule: Monday-Sunday, must be fully flexible to cover from 7am-9pm
Anticipated Contractual Start Date: October 5th 2026
Anticipated Contractual End Date: January 3rd 2027

Impactful Role:

You will be a crucial part of the team, helping to provide peace of mind to clients and the communities you serve.

What You’ll Do:

● Greet customers entering the parking facility
● Politely assist customers with inquiries and requests in a timely and efficient manner
● Direct drivers and pedestrians and advising on parking areas
● Assist visitors and provide directions throughout the facility
● Welcome booked visitors to the Visitors’ Car Park and ensure appropriate use of the facility
● Setting out and stowaway reserved parking cones and signs, as required
● Control event delivery and collection vehicles as required
● Control event car parking
● Assist Security staff with responses to fire alarms/emergencies as required
● Advise Security staff of any security concerns e.g. suspicious behaviour
● Maintain operation at car park and ensure customers get high quality service and satisfaction
● Respond swiftly to sound of alarm attached to marked vehicles when activated and investigate disturbances
● Identify possible risks at car park and resolve conflict where it arises
● Ensure a safe, hazard free, and clean parking environment
● Greet, assist and direct members of the public visiting the premises as well as liaising with the client
● Respond immediately to all reports concerning damage to equipment, antisocial behavior, and/or unauthorized access and resolve all issues

What We’re Looking For:

● Excellent customer service skills to ensure high degree of customer satisfaction
● Fluent English essential
● Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Highly energetic, confident, reliable, punctual, and proactive individual
● Excellent written and attention to detail skills are essential

● Be fully flexible and available to work Monday to Sunday
● Previous experience in a retail/customer service advisor role desirable but not essential
● Strong knowledge of and ability to apply Microsoft Office package
