Salary: £13.77 per hour

Hours: Part time, up to 24hrs a week. 2-3 days a week pro-rata. 

Location: Cheltenham

Join our team at G4S Facilities Management! We're looking for a positive and proactive Security Escort to join our team in Cheltenham. If you have excellent communication skills, can remain calm under pressure, and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role:

As a Security Escort, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure movement of visitors and contractors around the site. You'll follow detailed briefings, escort individuals, ensure compliance with security protocols, and act as a G4S ambassador.

Responsibilities:

• Provide diligent security escort services to visitors and contractors.
• Follow detailed briefings regarding the scope of work and security measures.
• Escort visitors/contractors, ensuring they avoid restricted areas and comply with protocols.
• Ensure adherence to rules on prohibited items and maintain oversight of visitors.
• Deliver escorting services in line with site policies, SLAs, and health & safety regulations.</li>
• Maintain regular contact with client representatives.
• Uphold G4S values and adhere to corporate security policies.
• Ensure team professionalism.
• Identify training needs.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent ability to follow instructions.
• Basic Security Clearance (BSC) Level 1 qualification.
• National Security Clearance should be held or obtained.

Desirable Requirements:

• IOSH Supervising Safely qualification.
• Manual Handling training.
• Full clean driving licence.
