Area Security Officer

We are currently recruiting for an Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Leicester!  

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £12.32 per hour
Hours: 12 hour shifts
Shifts - Days, Nights, Weekends - full flexibility required to cover shifts Monday to Sunday

SIA license - Door Supervisor or Security Guard

As an Area Security Officer you will be responsible for:

- Prioritising the safety, security, and service of the site, its staff, car parks, customers, our client, and property.
- Being polite, caring, and understanding when supporting employees, guests, and members of the public.
- Managing situations that may involve conflict, in line with training and policy guidelines.
- Maintaining attention to detail and being alert to any changes that may indicate an increased security risk or unusual situation.
- Inducting visitors, monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols, and performing any other ad hoc duties as required.

Our perfect worker will have:

- A SIA Licence
- A checkable personal history including periods of education, employment, travel, and unemployment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Smart appearance
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer literacy and Competent in Microsoft applications (Key Board skills)
- A reliable and responsible attitude to work, including the ability to be proactive
- Be totally flexible, reliable, and adaptable in their work environment
