Working Hours: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours a week
Location: Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford, OX3 7LD
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Fabric Technician to join our friendly team to ensure site fabric services are to a high standard within our Health contract based at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday working various shifts between 7am and 7pm.
Responsibilities

Attend regular M&E meetings with the Hard FM Manager and senior maintenance technician as required.

To carry out building fabric duties throughout Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.

To prioritise and handle all demand work orders received from the facilities helpdesk, ensuring that all reactive tasks are actioned/completed within the agreed timescales.

To assist in obtaining costs for additional works and materials wherever possible using approved G4S specialist subcontractors and suppliers.

A full compliance with all current and pending health & safety legislation on site at all times.

The job holder may be required to carry out any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Engineering Manager and senior maintenance technician.
The Ideal Candidate:
Essential
-
Recognised trade apprenticeship in building fabric construction / maintenance.
-
Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience of building and facilities maintenance.

Good communication skills

IT literate
-
Customer focused approach

Able to work on own initiative
