Weekends - Saturday and Sunday from 10PM - 6AM

 

This role and contract sit within our Facilities Management sector of G4S where we aim to improve the lives of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments.

We have an opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team based at Croydon University Hospital, CR7 7YE.

This is a part time role working 14 hours per week at Weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 10PM - 6AM.

Your hourly rate of pay is £10.02, plus an additional £1.20 per hour for each contracted hour worked at night between 22.00 - 06.00.

 

As a Domestic Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and leading the cleaning & housekeeping team in order to ensure that services to the client exceed expectations.

You will assist with developing team members in line with the competency framework and the G4S company values.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the team, taking responsibility for training and development and maintenance of expectations related to all people management aspects.
  • Ensure good staff morale through counselling and coaching and be observant of staff needs.
  • Produce and record information, for example equipment and stock levels.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels of cleaning consumables and to organise for the administration team to order supplies.
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship so that the Clients needs are understood and the Company reputation is enhanced.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the cleaning service solution.
  • Re-schedule work and rota’s to meet fluctuations in staffing levels and customer requests, including covering of absence.
  • Ensure that staff are checking equipment for faults and notifying the relevant person.
  • Ensure all Cleaning and Housekeeping staff adhere to the colour coding system and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required.
  • Keep up-to-date with equipment, materials and methods of working.


The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Criteria:

  • People management experience.
  • Full driving Licence required.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Organised and methodical.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
