The Vice President, Strategic Account Operations is responsible for the development, operations, and profitability of all physical security services within the Security Solutions' target vertical market(s). Responsibilities include working in a team environment to develop responses to strategic sales opportunities, maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base of security issues in vertical market(s) through participation in industry associations, and monitoring legislative changes potentially impacting the company's sales strategies and efforts. This position coordinates the day-to-day administration and specialized reporting functions to ensure quality customer relations, creates reports that are generated, analyzed, and provided as needed per client contract and G4S Secure Solutions USA policies, and communicates with client representatives and field offices regularly to facilitate these activities.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Client relations and retention; serve as primary corporate-client liaison responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction at both corporate and field levels
  • Debrief contract requirements to servicing field office and regional representatives; interpret rules and regulations; present ideas both orally and in writing; organize and plan projects or events; formulate questions and generate thoughtful and reasonable answers to issues
  • Participate in training of field managers in business development; train and supervise others using easy-to-understand concepts and hands on experience; instill self-confidence and self-esteem in others
  • Personnel management; provide supervision to Strategic Account Directors, Managers and Project Managers (e.g., oversee customer relations, ensure Physical Security Surveys and post orders are updated regularly, and review disciplinary actions for consistency and propriety)
  • Project management; implement standard security operations at each client facility, and ensure compliance through quarterly visits
  • Contract compliance; ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; quality assurance and contract compliance
  • Performance / budget compliance; responsibility for the oversight of Key Performance Indicators designed to meet contractual expectations to include; tracking cost savings initiatives US wide
  • Provide expert advise to corporate and field business development teams in regard to Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, and other cost factors associated with performance of physical security contract
  • Financial planning; budget preparation; conduct Monthly Business Reviews; ensure proper financial management of Accounts Receivables for strategic account operations
  • Business development of existing contracts; fostering successful partnerships with current strategic account clients to ensure organic growth of the contract
  • Employee engagement; development of direct and indirect reports within the strategic account team to unsure business continuity and vitality

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of management experience in the financial and team leadership aspects of a large semi-independent business enterprise
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of security-related project management experience in a multi-location environment with demonstrated ability to deliver efficiencies
  • Work history to include demonstration of each of the following:
    • Ability to organize and manage the process required to maintain compliance for licensing and training functions
    • Understanding of the cost factors associated with selling security services on a regional and national scale
    • Ability to direct, lead and foster inter-office project teams focused on meeting a variety of demands with equal priority
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while meeting company objectives and achieving customer satisfaction
    • Proficient skills in negotiation and achieving conflict resolution in a high profile, fast-paced, diverse working environment
