G4S Secure Integration is seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee all aspects of the operations team in the eastern region including the management of sub-regional offices within the region, with the assistance of Regional Managers in those locations. The company operates in the telecommunications systems integration and electronic security systems integration fields and operations functions include: system design, estimating, system implementation, construction, project management, preventative and ongoing maintenance, etc.
Contribute to the development of a strategic plan for the Company, including a comprehensive marketing plan that addresses company and regional growth objectives.
Measure and improve profitability of the region through active management of labor costs, material costs, equipment costs, and general overhead.
Lead and implement the setting, monitoring, and achievement of regional and sub-regional short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives.
Manage the financial aspects of the region including but not limited to: revenues,profits, overhead costs, direct costs, receivables, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.
Overall responsibility for personnel in the region including hiring, developing, motivating, and evaluating; within established company processes, policies and procedures.
Coordinate and collaborate with other operational regions and company departments in order to successfully establish and carry out responsibilities.
Adhere to and enforce all company programs, policies and procedures including but not limited to: Safety, Finance and Finance systems, HR, Operations, and Risk Management.
Ensure the Region meets customer expectations and service commitments, as well as legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
- BS/BA degree or greater in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 15+ years of practical work experience, and with 10+ years in a senior management role
- Work experience in telecommunications systems integration and/or electronic security systems integration fields is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in a senior level management or director level position
- Strong history in profit/loss responsibility, operations management, and financial management
