Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Assemble training programs specific to local customer needs
  • Manage the office’s safety program with assistance from the operations team, and through this program, rapidly and thoroughly address any safety incidents; ensure that safety is practiced throughout training and that it is part of the course material to ensure a safe and effective workforce
  • Document, revise and advise action plans to improve scheduling performance and function as it pertains to NBOT and fulfilling client relationships
  • Ensure proper inclusion in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Competency Management function and other training records
  • Resolve problems and evaluate customer/trainee comments to aid in the continual refining of the training product and curriculum
  • Develop, or participate in the development of, enhanced training methods and delivery
  • Communicate with operations managers, area supervisors, and site supervisors to gather feedback on the effectiveness of training in order to provide exceptional customer service
  • Deliver G4S approved training modules to provide the most effective training for both new hires and existing employees
  • Update materials as defined or required to continuously improve the training process
  • Conduct Training at client sites, remote locations, and/or special events as needed
  • Coordinate with Recruiting and Human Resources on the number of incoming employees for training class to ensure all materials are available
  • Work with the Office Manager to verify that new employees are supplied correctly for their post
  • Verify that the Certifications are met for officer type: TSO, USO, and CPO
  • Review/Update Competency Management and Licensing/Training Report
  • Provide recommendations for selection and placement of on-site trainers
  • Provide recommendations for selection of supporting trainers

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate’s Degree in Education, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Security Management or related degree combined with 1 year of classroom instructor experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent combined with 2 years of classroom instructor experience
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required to include, but not limited to:
    • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor with a vendor utilized by G4S or the client
    • Instructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by local office (i.e. OC Spray, Baton Techniques, Handcuffing, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Defensive Tactics, Taser certification, Practical Driver Training Courses, or any other client-specific training as required.)
  • Have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Prior work experience in a fast-paced administrative environment
  • Work history must include:
    • Excellent organizational skills that include the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
    • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with leadership

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
