Job Introduction:

We have an exciting opportunity for a trainer to join our Learning and Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This job is a home start role but will require nationwide travel to any UK location in order to carry out training at most of our Care & Justice sites. The role is responsible for delivering training related to contract management and governance. Role Responsibility:

  • Delivery of courses to senior contract managers and all functions (this could be Covid online or face-to-face)
  • Monitoring and testing understanding of the course content
  • Measuring the impact and amending training content as necessary

The Ideal Candidate:

Skills & Knowledge

Essential 

  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on the job or in classroom training, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Essential knowledge and skills in financial and contract management
  • Ability to influence operational and functional managers, and confidence to challenge where necessary
  • Excellent relationship management skills, ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work without close supervision and fixed structure
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Training qualification (minimum Level 3)
  • At least 5 years in a learning and development role 

Desirable

  • Can demonstrate ability to identify and articulate development needs and translate them into operationally viable learning solutions.
  • Previous management experience would be an advantage.

Home start with Nationwide travel required to deliver training at most UK Care & Justice sites. You must have the right to live and work in the UK as there is no visa for this role.
