Job Introduction:

G4S Secure Integration is a market-leading systems integrator who brings innovative, flexible and cost-efficient thinking to the design, construction and maintenance of stand-alone or integrated communication networks and security systems.  We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer that will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting and programming for the security program.

Role Responsibility:

• Export and import data from/to various formats like delimited raw/text file, MS‐Excel, XML, SQL Server, etc. Transfer data between various servers and/or data sources.
• Ability to restore databases and individual tables upon request
• Perform special project assignments from the department manager or client management
• Apply all technical training received on specific systems to the client live environment
• Provide Security Technical support and backup of application programming.
• Maintain systems as directed by the customer Security Technical and Line of Business teams
• Generate various reports as requested by management.
• Support Build Engineers in loading of applications on servers, workstations, and required equipment.
• Work closely with system manufacturer professional services and help desks as required, to ensure program success
• Support troubleshooting of applications.
• Support documentation of all testing processes
• Develop automated health monitoring and system status reporting
• Works well and cooperate with other team members in a highly sensitive, critical infrastructure environment to facilitate completion of project schedules and tasks
• Should be a self‐starter recommending process improvements and beneficial program enhancements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, IT or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Physical Security.
• Personal certification is a plus.
• Experience with AMAG and Verint is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft® Office, Network, OS and database knowledge. 
• Experience in any of the following technologies is highly desirable, as well as vendor or industry certifications:  Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, SQL queries, backups, restores, and recovery models.
• Must have good communications skills, both oral and written.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Occasional domestic travel may be required.
