Monday - Friday, Flexible

 

We are looking for a Stores Person to join our team at Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LJ. The hours of work are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, flexible hours.

 

As Stores Person, you will run, manage and maintain full stock control of the internal stores system.

 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • To organise the effective stock keeping of Facilities Management related stock.

  • To undertake regular stock checks producing stock level reports.

  • To liaise with suppliers and act as procurement lead for all stock relating to the Churchill PFI.

  • Develop a critical spares list to ensure facility operational continuity.

  • Prepare spare equipment to allow for smooth PPM works.

  • Identify system improvements.

  • Undertake supplier reviews and drive an improvement in supplier performance.

  • Commit to driving health & Safety throughout the G4s team.

 


The Ideal Candidate:

 

To be successful for this role you will:

 

  • Be Computer Literate (Work Orders, Quotations, P&L , etc.)

  • Have strong Communication Skills.

  • Have experience of managing stores, or a similar operation.

  • Have strong organisational skills.

  • Be ready to work shift pattern and Weekends

  • Fundamentals of mechanical, electrical and/or electronic systems
