As a Security Supervisor at G4S you will lead the onsite Security Officers, ensuring the safety of staff, buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. 

 

Within this role no two days are the same, duties will include providing regular team briefings to ensure the team are fully up to date on any escalation issues. You will need to recognise and celebrate successes within the team whilst providing feedback to improve any issues that may have arisen. Provide on the job training and coaching to individuals and the team to ensure the skills of the team are continually developed to meet G4S and Client requirements.You will attend regular customer KPI meetings and maintain effective relationships with the customer striving to improve the service provision at all times.

 

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It is essential for this role to have previous security experience as a Team Leader or Security Supervisor and hold a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) card. You must have demonstrable leadership skills, experience or qualifications.

The Ideal Candidate

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

5 year verifiable work history
Experience of rostering and maintaining contract cover
Good knowledge of CCTV, integrated access control, intruder alarm systems and procedures in a Control Room environment
Strong IT skills – including good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience in providing comprehensive oral and written reports in structured clear and informative manner
Experience managing a team of staff
Excellent customer service skills
SIA Licence
Full Clean drivers licence
Safe Pass
Occupational First Aid
Manual Handling
Fire Warden
