£41,919.50 per annum

 

Including an annual retention bonus of £2,000 (pro-rata), plus a holiday allowance of 22 days holiday per year, including Bank Holidays, plus 2.5 Privilege days per year.

 

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, who will be responsible for the supervision of the shift team undertaking PPM and Reactive Works. The role attracts enhanced responsibility out of hours; supervisor becomes G4S on site focal point for Hard FM escalations.

 

This is a full time role working 42 hours per week across various shifts between Monday and Sunday. The role will involve working flexible hours that include early mornings and evenings.  The role will also require the successful candidate to undertake over time where required and Supervise the Shift Team on a rota basis of 24 hours / 7days / 365 days per year.


 

Key Responsibilities will include:

Specifics

  • Supervise all staff, PPM & reactive works, tools and sickness cover carried out in accordance SLA’s & KPI’s, site policies H&S Rules and Regulations.

  • Supervise on-site contractors, ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed in line with SLA’s.

  • Contribute to site performance trends to identify risk and opportunity improvements.

  • Monitor, operate and utilise BMS, ENMS and FMIS outputs to optimise service delivery.

  • Respond to defects, faults and client requests. Work with others to identify root causes to prevent re-occurrence.

  • Maintain records; produce regular and ad hoc reports as required.

  • Ensure all planned maintenance tasks are completed within the designated time period to enable full compliance.

  • Plan, coordinate and arrange ordering of materials completing appropriate paperwork in a timely manner to enable service delivery.

  • Undertake auditing, review productivity, drive innovation and quality within service delivery in your area of responsibility.

  • Address all HR issues from direct reports involving line manager / HR team where appropriate.

  • Arrange suitable team cover as a result of sickness / leave to ensure continuity of service delivery.

 

Corporate

  • Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.

  • Live G4S values and act as a G4S ambassador in all interactions with client and contractor representatives.

  • Adhere to corporate security policies.

  • Identify training and development to satisfy corporate objectives and define succession plans.

  • Ensure the professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout all your team.

  • DV clearance will be required to fulfill this role.


The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Criteria:

  • Supervisory experience.

  • Five years experience in the appropriate work area.

  • Recognised relevant qualifications.

  • Experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.

  • BSC level 1 & 2.

  • Microsoft Office familiarity.

  • IOSH supervise safely.

  • IT literate.

 

Desirable Criteria:

  • IOSH managing safely.

  • HNC/HND engineering.

  • NVQ4 engineering.

  • BIFM level 3 or above.

  • AP by discipline.

  • Hard FM delivery within a commercial environment.

  • Member of or working towards a professional body.

  • MS Office to introductory level.
