Shift Manager

As a Security Shift Manager in a Higher Education Establishment with G4S, you’ll ensure the safety of our customers’ staff, students, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

Your role is to support in the general provision of University Protection Accommodation services and/or additional events/activities, ensuring the crime prevention initiatives are managed and delivered to the relevant university groups, students and societies.

To provide Management reporting as required to meet the service standard and demonstrate compliance with the specification’s Key Performance Indicators.

Ensure that all officers are suitably trained and have adequate site instruction to enable all security duties to be delivered within the requirements of the University standard operating procedures and maintain correct manning levels on all sites. 

To maintain and monitor daily performance to ensure that behaviours and appearances exceed G4S and client expectations. 

It’s a varied role that includes daily interaction with stakeholders and ensuring all security protocols are adhered to and managing security incidents. This position covers days, nights and weekends following a rotational shift pattern, and you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.
