Salary range £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

 

Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week) 

 

We are looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Estate and Facilities team based at HMP Rye Hill to manage the Facilities Management Services ensuring that contractual KPI’s, compliance and other legislative requirements are met to ensure building and services maintenance, facilities management, cleaning, and other FM services are maintained to the standards and service levels across the secure environment.

 

To succeed in this role, you will be a dynamic and engaging individual, who shares our ethics and values. A proven leader, you will have the ability to recognise the attention to detail required to deliver a daily facilities management service.

 

It is key that you are flexible and adaptable to deal with ever-changing scenarios as you will deliver an effective and consistent response to the delivery of reactive maintenance to maintain a safe and decent environment, whilst coaching, supporting and motivating employees in order to develop and improve their performance, to meet customer, commercial and contractual requirements, whilst ensuring statutory and contractual compliance within the secure environment.  You will coordinate the production, maintenance and dissemination of instructions, manuals, reports, documents and information to ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed.

 

You will also manage induct, coach, support and motivate employees in order to develop and improve their performance, to meet customer, commercial and contractual requirements and to ensure commitment to inclusivity and the maintenance of appropriate behaviour and conduct in line with Group Minimum Standards.  In addition, you will also manage external agencies in the delivery of capital replacement and construction projects in line with current policies and processes in accordance with the requirements of the Construction (Design & Management) 2015 Regulations.


The Ideal Candidate:

As a contractual requirement of the role, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the following professional qualifications:

 

  • Industry recognised qualifications e.g. HND, HNC, NVQ
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Legislation (qualification – IOSH/NEBOSH)
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations, as well as significant experience of in-house and outsourced estates management service delivery

 

Some of the key essential skills and knowledge for this role are:

 

  • Experience in M&E Services and Buildings Maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written
  • Experience of compliance within an Estates & Facilities environment
