The Senior Intelligence Analyst is a change leader responsible for collecting, analyzing, producing and disseminating critical and time-sensitive information of relevance to the safety and security of G4S customer’s global assets and operations. The Senior Intelligence Analyst will be an analyst who can utilize advanced analytic techniques to provide predictive analysis of potential risks that may impact G4S customers, and develop tailored intelligence products to provide actionable intelligence to key stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills and is key to establishing organizational situational awareness concerning emergent and ongoing risks. Additionally, this position will be responsible for assisting the Director of Intelligence and Risk Operations Center with the design and implementation of global intelligence processes and programs in G4S Americas region and other designated regions around the world.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Oversee a team of analysts that monitor risk-related information relevant to existing or planned destinations, itineraries and acquisitions, as well as corporate employees and physical assets; tracking corporate travelers, identifying and communicating associated risks based on developing events at destination of interest
  • Mentor, lead, and develop junior level intelligence analysts; manage, train and support embedded contract analysts at strategic customer’s sites; develop and maintain training materials pertaining to analysts, guiding  the professional development of team members
  • Companywide and global decision making per their team’s consolidation, evaluation, analysis, and distribution of raw data and information from open sources, third-party provider subscriptions, private industry partners, and government and law enforcement sources to identify trends and patterns; guiding subordinates in  preparing detailed analyses in a timely fashion; using analytic tools, methodologies, and data systems to research, review, interpret, and assess risk-related information
  • Identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate identified risks globally and internationally
  • Develop and prepare briefs, reports, and advanced analytical products—including risk assessments—for the use of organizational leadership, senior executives, and other intelligence consumers in a manner that meets their specified requirements and informs their corporate decisions
  • Direct and lead working groups, committees, and other collaborative gatherings concerning potential or ongoing threats
  • Approve subordinate’s all-source collection and research, analysis, evaluations, and integrations of data from multiple sources; identify intelligence gaps, and specify collection requirements to produce assessments and procedural changes
  • Approve analyses, assessments, verbal briefs or other products by applying expert judgment and specialized experience in interpreting information and making decisions
  • Guide team of Analysts in extracting essential information and analysis from a variety of sources, and synthesize the information into actionable reports
  •  Review all submitted analytical and investigative reports to ensure accuracy, research, investigative sufficiency, and professional quality; edit and correct as necessary, independently developing and implementing solutions regarding deficiencies found
  • Oversee the preparation of graphs, charts (link analysis, event flow analysis, activity charting), tables and other illustrative devices for visual presentation of data
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key customer account

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Political Science, International Affairs, Criminology, or other closely related field

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in National Security, Military Intelligence, Criminal Intelligence Analysis, or Corporate Intelligence Analysis involving the principles, concepts, and methodologies of all-source intelligence analysis to research, evaluate, and integrate all-source data in the preparation and presentation of intelligence analytical products

  • Must possess excellent professional thinking, writing and briefing skills; demonstrated proficiency in clearly communicating highly technical security concepts to non-security audiences in business terms
  • Must have demonstrated analytical expertise necessary to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
  • Must be able to produce high quality detailed documentation to internal and external parties while managing sensitive or confidential information
  • Must have demonstrated ability to develop metrics, perform critical analysis, identify threats and develop leadership decision support content
  • Must possess a proven ability to independently and efficiently handle multiple time sensitive projects, rapid change and ambiguity while maintaining the highest analytical standards and direct contact with intelligence consumers, including making challenging judgment calls in the absence of senior leaders
  • Must have a deep understanding of current global threat dynamics and trends, including—but not limited to—violent extremism, terrorism, geopolitical risk, cyber threats, and criminal activity particularly regarding the manufacturing industry
  • Must be able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Office/Control Center; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expected.

Major activity:  Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting or standing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
