As Senior Area Operations Controller you will support the AOC Manager, coaching the AOC team members to ensure best practice standards are upheld and performance targets are met. You will also stand in for the AOC Manager and cover the AOC operators when required. You will ensure management information and reporting is fit for purpose and accurate. Working with the AOC Manager on continually improving the support function in the AOC, you will engage with other Support Functions and Operational Management Teams to refine the AOC service.

Some of your key responsibilities will include maintaining and improving the Employee Management System data and reporting with audits and necessary follow up actions. You will be Identifying and minimising risk, carrying out the resolution of complex pay queries, ensure compliance with SIA and NSI regulations and working with the AOC Manager to introduce KPI’s to the team & help the team understand targets and goals. 

The Ideal Candidate:


Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Security Industry and SIA Licensing process
  • Understanding of statutory and contractual rules relating to employee management
  • Strong customer and compliance focus

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding of the soft services provision for the MOJ TFM contract
  • Knowledge of G4S FM policies and procedures
  • Experience of the Javelin system
  • Experience of project delivery or coordination
