Job Introduction

The Security Coordinator role shall provide first line support to Chivas Brothers Ltd, by being trained to SIA and G4S standards, to provide a proactive and professional point of contact for direct reports, Chivas management and stakeholders within the CBL NOPS business locations.

The Security Coordinator shall undertake all day to day operational security managerial functions of the role with additional coordination duties / responsibilities such as, but not limited to: -

  • Maintain service provision standards in line with the agreed expectation / standards.

  • Oversee on the job staff training, ensuring records are accurate and up to date

  • Review CCTV footage to ensure use is compliant

  • Undertake Search Audits

  • Undertake Key Holding audits

  • Communicate CPNI & CTSA updates and issue guidance to staff

  • Communicate ALERT STATE and update staff

  • Undertake ongoing site specific H&S risk assessments.

  • Any other managerial or operational roles as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.

  • Assist with emergency exercise planning and be present during major exercises

  • Disciplinary Issues – time keeping, general standard of work, sickness etc.

  • Reviewing daily POB checks and filing copies

  • Reviewing daily log sheets and filing copies

  • Recruitment requests

  • Produce new procedures and issue direction on client requests for procedure changes

  • Issue memos to the security team on operational and company updates                                                                            

  • Point of contact for client and G4S Management Team

  • Manage staff scheduling and deployment

  • Carry out staff yearly appraisals

  • Carry out care visits

  • Support the annual Assignment Instructions & H&S reviews with SDM.

  • Maintain accurate Assignment Instruction amending as and when required.                                                                                          

  • Support the annual security plan review

  • Review, log and share Incident Reports with client

  • Strong communication skills – written and oral

  • Knowledge of contingency planning and disaster recovery

  • Experience of security or people management in an ever changing environment

  • Experience of security systems, including CCTV

  • Experience in the use of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Word 2013
