Job Introduction:

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as the G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. liaison with client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving company employees

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Act as primary liaison between G4S Secure Solutions USA and client senior management
  • Review post orders and make recommendations to corporate security when updates should be considered
  • Review daily log reports and provides pass downs as required
  • Responsible for officers meeting company standards pertaining to quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all company policies and procedures including worldwide business standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Conduct required/dedicated site assessments to ensure compliance and provides recommendation on operations, policy and technology applications to plant management
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits. Administer G4S Safety Program
  • Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities. Maintain written logs as required by the post
  • Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or management capacity
  • Must have one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
    • Service on the active duty military, military reserves or National Guard
    • Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
    • Meaningful and verifiable work history
    • A minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experience

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess strong diplomacy skills and be able to demonstrate sensitivity to protocol
  • Ability to successfully complete all training required for the position
  • Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
