As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for administering the security contract and ensuring compliance with the regulatory and contractual requirements. This position will act as G4S liaison with the client, law enforcement agencies, customers, and employees. You will also be responsible for management oversight and driving operational accountability through effective change management and leadership development processes. This Security Site Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and controls the operational and administrative activities of the contract on a day to day basis as well as proposes and implements proactive measures to improve performance and expand the operation. In addition, you will be directly accountable for the success, performance, compliance, and public perception of the program.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Provide direct supervision to security officers and shift supervisors; ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security officers have been met
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting site security personnel and their job performance
  • Prepare reports as required and provide assistance to site visitors and client employees in a courteous and professional manner
  • Maintain overtime to G4S requirements
  • Perform other operations-related functions, including payroll; review and maintain incident reports; issue uniforms as needed; coordinate fleet vehicles
  • Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
  • Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
  • Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
  • Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
  • Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must have one (1) or more of the following:
    • Law enforcement experience
    • Service in the Elite Military Forces, Military Police or combat arms
    • Graduate of Police/Corrections Academy
    • Criminal Justice Degree, Associate or higher
    • Career Military
  • Minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must be able to speak, read and write both Spanish and English languages
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
