**$500 of bonus will be paid as follows: $250 after 60 days of continuous employment, and $250 after 90 days of continuous employment. Bonus amount is subject to applicable federal and state income withholdings.**

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Manage security activities of a plant by directing the activities of supervisors who in turn direct work activities of Security Officers, Fire Inspectors and Supervisors to insure protection of corporate assets and the effective and efficient support of plant operations.
  • Implement, and maintain client security operational strategies to meet corporate and plant operations
  • Advise Plant Management on matters pertaining to asset protection and to the providing of effective security and fire support for plant operations
  • Analyses and evaluated the efficiency and effectiveness of existing physical security and fire protection systems for the plant through adequate audit and review activities
  • Supervise the implementation and maintenance of security systems designed to protect the assets of the facility. Responsible for the operation and proper functioning of the site access control system and plant fire system
  • Implement, evaluate and maintain line operational procedures for security to ensure compliance with client objectives and mandated federal, state, and municipal requirements
  • Respond to client requests
  • Supervise investigations of incidents occurring within the plant; consult and coordinate with appropriate Security Service officials, on resources needed, status and disposition of these investigations
  • Maintain contacts with law enforcement officials to aid in these investigations


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in security and fire prevention

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must have effective leadership, verbal / written communication, human relations, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have knowledge of client policies and procedures, as well as, Federal, State and Municipal regulations, codes and standards impacting security and fire prevention
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity:  Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Standing, walking, and sitting. Some stooping and/or kneeling required.
