The Site Manager is responsible for enforcing all company rules, policies, and procedures. Conduct proper training and oversight according to contract and company specifications. This position will provide quality service through post inspections and will be responsible for the gathering, documenting, and reporting of all incidents, as well as strengthen communication between, officers, management, and client. Provide management oversight and driving operation accountability through effective change, management, and leadership development processes. This position is the primary point of contact for human relations functions involving G4S Secured Solutions (USA) Inc. employees.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Act as primary liaison between G4S and clients senior management
  • Provide the utmost customer service level to the client and their guests
  • Ability to notice and de-escalate potential hazardous situations in a timely and effective manner
  • Review post orders and make recommendations to the client when updates should be considered, review log reports, daily pass down reports
  • Payroll and scheduling procedures as directed by G4S management
  • Maintain the professional operation, administration and quality assurance of uniformed services for the site
  • Provide a monthly report to the facilities and corporate security organizations detailing all pertinent activities that have occurred in the previous month
  • Complete required shift logs and reports; compliance with site post orders, G4S and client policies and procedures
  • Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision, performance reviews, attendance tracking, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
  • Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to his/her shift
  • Inspect all Officers at the start of each shift for appearance and readiness for duty
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI); conduct dedicated / required site assessments to ensure client compliance and provide recommendation on operations, policy and technology applications to client plant management
  • Administer the G4S Safety Program; semi-annual review and revise the security Emergency Response plan; monitor compliance with regulatory and fire prevention equipment and safety items assigned by the client
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed by G4S management


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, applicable licensing to perform the duties of a security officer
  • Must possess a current and valid driver's license in state of residence

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of supervisory / management experience in a corporate environment or security related field
  • Must have one or more of the following
    • Law enforcement experience (military police or civilian law enforcement)
    • Service in elite military forces (e.g. Navy SEALS, Delta Force, etc.) or combat arms
    • Graduate of police academy
    • Criminal Justice degree, Associates or higher
    • Career military

  • Must be at least 21 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
  • Must have demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
  • Must have demonstrated customer service skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat

Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Limited stretching and bending. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
