Allied Universal have pleasure to be recruiting for a brand new residentail building development which is sure to offer some of the finest unique homes within London and the UK. We are looking for security personel who are passionate about delivering customer service to the highest level whilst genuinely careing for customers, colleagues and have the ability to deliver a kind and personal service.

As the Operations Manager, you will be expected not only to manage, monitor and mentor, but personally exemplify the high standards of presentation, excellent knowledge of security and maintaining of first-rate customer service skills at all times. This is a brand new residential development, therefore flexibility, agility and resilience are essential to be able to adapt to the changes required during the set up. As the estate grows the security requirement will need to be flexible and the security has the potential to grow, a vision to drive these standards and offer security solutions is therefore essential. 

As the Operations Manager and spearhead of the Security team, you're first point of contact for the clients, their managers, and all the Security team staff. You are responsible for the entire premises security and as such need to lead by example and ensure that all your staff are both welcoming and representative of the ‘five-star’ feel of the premises and the client we are representing.

To be successful in this role, you will need both an SIA Door Supervisor Licence and SIA CCTV Licence.

Duties & Responsibilities can be broken down as follows: 

  1.  Ensuring all posts are manned daily with fully trained, fully uniformed, fully equipped staff. 
  2. Attending weekly meetings with the Client and wider Estate Management team. 
  3. Conducting audits and ensuring staff are complaint with their KPI’s and industry standards. 
  4. Ensuring that each post has a full set of paperwork, signed off and understood by the officers operating those posts.
  5. Staff development, appraisals, one2one meetings and overall people management of the security team. 
  6. Working closely with the Estate teams to ensure service levels are excelled. 
  7. Keeping documentation and reporting up to date and accurate. 
  8. Conducting risk assessments and updating procedures where necessary. 
  9. Monitoring the SOP’s for every position, ensuring they remain updated and current. 
  10. Overall management of the Security team, including FCC, Estate Officers, Building officers and loading bay teams.
  11. Ensuring service levels are provided at all times, including managing staffing levels. 
  12. Managing and maintaining all electronic systems. 
  13. To provide oversight, protection of staff and collation of evidence through the Control Room. 
  14. To manage all procedural and compliance aspects of the Security team.
  15. Conducting and reporting audits to Senior Management. 
  16. Take ownership of any problems presented to you by your staff, client managers, tenants or visitors, ensuring satisfactory outcomes to their queries. 
  17. To uphold the ‘five-star customer service’ attitude through leadership.
  18. To work in tangent with the other teams following the premises ‘One Team’ ethos.
  19. To have awareness of the client’s business and brands. 
  20. Liaison with the AU training manager to ensure that all staff are fully trained.
  21. Liaison with the AU team to organise requirements for equipment, uniform and external training. 
  22. Liaison with the AU recruitment team for new staff interview, review and induction.
