Job Introduction:

As a Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Lamb Weston Director of Corporate. Security. This includes assistance with security and investigative programs at the corporate level and, as required, at individual sites globally. It can include managing special compliance programs, executive protection/Workplace Violence prevention and response, security systems and guarding services, etc. Other duties may include:

  • Provides support to the Security Director or to Lamb Weston operational elements, when required
  • Prepare accurate and timely communications to, including  business partners, as appropriate
  • Developing/maintaining security risk analyses
  • All other duties assigned

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Support the Corporate Security Director as needed including making decisions, conducting and evaluating training, and evaluating performance of security providers as delegated by the Security Director.
  • Provide timely communications and actionable information; ensures implementation as required
  • Establish relationships with internal and external partners to assist and closely manage  projects within budget
  • Prepare accurate communication via email to employees, managers, clients, and vendors
  • Ability to assist with administrative, billing or operational duties, as needed

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as, criminology, criminal justice, political science, international studies, national security, business, accounting, finance or any other related field
    • ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and other related certifications
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant military, government or corporate experience

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • While not required, prior administrative experience in a diverse environment is a plus!

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:  Indoor; minimal exposure to extreme temperatures is expected but is possible during on-site assessments

Major activity:  Sitting, speaking, listening, observing; computer and telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Sitting with some walking for assessments. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
