In this position, you will be responsible for providing physical security services related to building security and asset protection at all client facilities. You will utilize communication, analytic, and problem resolution skills to help resolve security and access control problems for employees, contract agents, and customers throughout the organization. You will also administer and help support various Information Security management programs and initiatives related to computer security, policy and procedures, awareness training, audit coordination, legal matters, legislation and regulatory compliance.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Manage and monitor condition and operation of security equipment through regular testing and auditing of system
  • Resolve security and access control problems for employees, contract agents, and customers throughout the organization
  • Conduct investigations using PTZ video monitoring system and alarm systems
  • Support various Information Security management programs and initiatives related to computer security, policy and procedures, awareness training, audit coordination, legal matters, legislation and regulatory compliance


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
    • Service in the active duty military, military reserves or National Guard
    • Service in auxiliary police or police cadets
    • Meaningful and verifiable work history
    • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful security experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the State, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Must possess a basic understanding of security system technologies (alarms, video, and access control)
  • Must be a trustworthy individual with very high ethical standards and excellent integrity
  • Must be able to work flexible shift schedules
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
  • Upon acceptance of a job offer, must be able to pass the following:
    • MMPI - Psychological testing, if armed or otherwise required
    • Physical exam, if armed or required by client contract

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting, and limited stretching and reaching
