As Security Operations Center Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development, oversight, and growth of the security operations program within the assigned Secure Solutions account.  This position aids in the development of best practices, training material, and specific protocols in collaboration with local and corporate field representatives, and client representatives, to ensure continuity of program goals and technological developments.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Develop and grow the Security Operations Center Program
  • Provide stability within the operation center team to ensure continuity of effort.
  • Demonstrative innovative, critical and analytical thinking skills that result in the expansion of performance levels, service delivery, and organizational capabilities
  • Develop training material and provide ongoing and new hire training to Operations Operators and Analysts to ensure understanding of procedures and established protocols
  • Provide oversight to ensure habitual compliance with established protocols
  • Participate in selection and placement, and performance reviews, manage attendance, and conflict resolution; assist with scheduling as required


The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess both of the following:
    • Minimum of one (1) year managing a Security Operations Center, Security Communications Center, security/alarm monitoring center or other closely related operation
    • Minimum of (2) years of security or law enforcement management experience
  • Work history must include each of the following:
    • Proven knowledge of security and safety industry operations
    • Demonstrated knowledge of safety and/or emergency response program implementation
    • Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate tasks, and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive management
    • Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills
    • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication tools
    • Demonstration of strong computer skills (hardware, software & network operations) with the ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals
    • Knowledge of the operation of basic physical security systems, such as CCTV, video, alarm systems, access control, radio and telephone equipment, smart phones, and fire life safety

Environment:         Office; indoor with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected
