Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Develop and secure incremental revenue and market share from new business and existing accounts to achieve profitable volume growth consistent with marketing plan initiatives
  • Develop, identify, and qualify new business development opportunities through various lead sources including sales team members and relationship managers
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Operations to win more business by leveraging client’s unique security offerings, insure operations and start up is done properly
  • Act as a business consultant to establish credibility with prospects through an understanding of their business issues and present logical economically beneficial solutions
  • Work with Products to ensure profitability and margins remain at or above client expectation
  • Provide the region with guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to the promotion, sale and service of the security offerings and benefits
  • Work directly with regional station sales and operations management to promote the security offerings
  • Assist sales and marketing with sales directives, sales presentations, customer bids, pricing, strategy engineering and customer communication
  • Promote the security offerings to a targeted list of premier customers within the region
  • Provide and support local assistance on negotiations with customers that are leveraging our security offerings
  • Capitalize on value creation opportunities by working closely with the sales, the customer service team, and operations management team to develop creative workable solutions to customer needs 
  • Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate the market
  • Prepare monthly sales reports reflecting sales volumes and potential sales
  • Train and mentor business development team to ensure proper understanding of our security offerings and goals to ensure the budget is met

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess the ability to meet and maintain any applicable State licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess experience leading a function with a complex process
  • Work history must demonstrate all of the following:
    • success in directing and influencing high performance teams
    • Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, presentation and negotiating skill
    • success in managing (KPI’s) Key Performance Indicators.
    • success in problem solving through use of data and information metrics and improvement to performance process.
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with proven ability to turn findings into executable plans

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:         Office; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected

Major activity:        Working on PC while sitting; telephone use

Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching
