As a Security Analyst, you will produce in-depth reports that are contextually accurate and help mitigate natural and man-made threats against the client. The Analyst will collect, monitor, study and consolidate comprehensive national and international information into analytical products that respond to specific or emerging events. Further, the analyst will write reports that help identify any adversarial event(s) that could or will impact client employees, facilities, and operations. In addition, the analyst will leverage existing security processes and technologies to assist in the development and evolution of the security operations center core processes. Data mining experience is essential to the position and the analyst will be expected to perform all duties within the security operator job description.

The analyst must demonstrate an ability to communicate both written and orally at a professional level and must demonstrate an ability to proactively make decisions, multi-task, and operate under tight time constraints. The analyst position requires a broad geopolitical awareness, working knowledge of global events, and global geography/cultures. The individual must work closely with team members and the wider business to understand information requirements.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Construct routine security briefs/reports on a wide variety of topics; e.g. daily briefs, country reports, crime reports, facility footfall reports, threat assessments, etc.  
  • Provide key insight to stakeholders  
  • Generate easy to interpret reports based on collected data  
  • Prioritize suggested changes to each business segment  
  • Be the analytical focal point for the company’s security intelligence gathering processes  
  • Assess specific safety/security conditions and recommend adjustments  
  • Write improved procedural safety/security protocols or processes for all affected departments  
  • Make suggestions for safety/security improvements and for streamlining processes  
  • Assist in the creation of data collection guidelines for internal use

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • If previously employed, meaningful and verifiable work history

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • Attention to detail


  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment:       Office; minimal to no extreme temperatures expected

Major Activity:      Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sitting

Physical Efforts to Carry Out Job Duties:   Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited stretching and reaching.
